September 30, 1965. Jim Wilson in the Philippines.

Wilson seemed amused. He often tried to anticipate the reactions of producers and film editors in New York who would be screening his work.  Coming across a shot looking down into the crater of an active volcano, they would be amazed. Wilson was instinctively reckless. (pg 204)
